Natascha Bach

As a private voice instructor for over 30 years, I have worked with vocalists of all ages and experience levels, from non-pitch-matchers to career performers. My students have received top awards at state and regional competitions, been accepted into national honor choirs, sung with the San Francisco Symphony under Michael Tilson Thomas, and with the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Gustavo Dudamel. 

My singers have performed with the San Francisco Opera, landed roles in professional touring Broadway shows, and have gone on to major conservatories. Many now work as music professionals themselves. 

I teach classical, oratorio, opera, art songs, folk music, jazz, musical theatre, pop, and everything in between. Whether you are preparing for auditions, pursuing music as your career, learning to read music, or want to learn to sing better, I can teach you.

I’ve studied privately with international opera singer Deborah Voigt and voice technician James Toland. I’ve been featured as a mezzo-soprano soloist in Handel’s Messiah, Mozart’s Requiem, Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel, Bernstein’s Candide, and Mozart’s Magic Flute. 

Weekly private voice lessons are available for serious young singers ages 12 through college & post-grad, pre-professional vocalists, and motivated adults of any age.

I offer 45-minute weekly lessons or 60-minute weekly lessons. Lessons are available online or in person for Sacramento, CA, and the surrounding area.

Serious high school and pre-professional singers are encouraged to select 60-minute lessons to allow sufficient time for comprehensive technique, repertoire study, and performance preparation.
